A Bit About
Kindred Paws

Kindred Paws is based in Todmorden, Calderdale, and is run by Vicky, a dedicated dog trainer and pet sitter with a true passion for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Vicky understands that every dog has their own personality, quirks, and needs, which is why her approach is always tailored to each individual.

From energetic puppies learning their first commands to older dogs who simply need companionship and consistency, Vicky has the skills and patience to bring out the best in every dog. She is especially experienced with larger breeds and bull breeds, using positive, practical methods to help them thrive while keeping training safe, effective, and enjoyable.

Whether it’s dog sitting in your home or personalised training sessions, Kindred Paws provides reliable, compassionate care designed to give owners peace of mind and dogs the very best support. Based in Todmorden but happy to travel, Vicky is committed to making sure your pooches feel comfortable and happy.

I can’t recommend Victoria enough! From the moment we met, it was clear how much care and attention she gives to every dog. We came home to a happy, relaxed, and clearly loved dog while we were away. We’ll definitely be using her services again.

What's The Future
For Kindred Paws?

The heart of Kindred Paws will always be about loving dogs and providing the best possible care for them, whether that’s through training, sitting, or simply being a trusted friend when their owners can’t be there. Looking ahead, the vision is to grow Kindred Paws into more than just one-to-one care — with plans to introduce group training sessions and classes in the future.

These classes will give dogs the chance to learn together, build confidence in social settings, and strengthen the bond between owners and their pets. While the future holds exciting new opportunities, the core promise remains the same: every dog will be treated with patience, kindness, and genuine care.

Another exciting step will be offering home boarding, giving dogs a safe and welcoming environment when their owners are away or working. With a focus on creating a calm, homely atmosphere, boarding will ensure each dog feels settled and cared for as if they were part of the family.
